Michael V. (born December 17, 1969 Beethoven del Valle Bunagan), also known as "Bitoy" or "Toybits", is a Filipino comedian, actor, director, composer, singer, rapper, voice artist and parodist, who appears in the GMA Network show Bubble Gang, and in his own TV show Bitoy's Funniest Videos.

Known as the "Weird Al" Yankovic of the Philippines for his "translations" and parodies of popular Filipino and foreign songs and has also made original songs, such as "Sinaktan Mo Ang Puso Ko" (You've Hurt My Heart), and "Hindi Ako Bakla" (I'm Not Fag). The song "Sinaktan Mo Ang Puso Ko" is closely similar to Yankovic's "You Don't Love Me Anymore".
Beethoven was born on December 17, 1969 in Pandacan, Manila, Philippines. His father named him after German composer Ludwig van Beethoven, not because they shared almost the same birth date (199 years later), but because his father saw a copy of Beethoven's LP in his boss's office and didn't know that "Beethoven" is a surname.
His nickname is not actually derived from his real name, as earlier speculated. It was taken from a TV character played by comedian Bentot. When Bentot guested in Iskul Bukol, the then high school pupil Beethoven saw it. The next day, he was mimicking Bentot's voice in school. His classmates then called him Bitoy. The nickname stuck to this day.
In his younger days, he was a very hopeful boy. Spending his days in rooftops of a tenement housing where he lived for almost 20 years, he foresees himself making a difference any way he can.
He joined a lot of contests on TV. In one contest at Eat Bulaga, judge Ogie Alcasid turned him down. Later, Beethoven became a co-host of Eat Bulaga and Ogie Alcasid become one of his close friends and co-star in the long-running Bubble Gang and the defunct Tropang Trumpo.
During his early days, he was an extremely shy young man. He was often pessimistic about his life, thinking that he was too dumb to have a future. One day, little did he know that while drunk and singing a certain song, his voice was actually being recorded by his wife.
During the popularity of Andrew E., the song Humanap Ka Ng Panget became a monster hit. The then unsigned Beethoven composed a reply song entitled "Maganda Ang Piliin (Ayoko Ng Panget)". At that time, OctoArts was then inviting Beethoven's female friend and rapping partner, Dianne, to submit a demo tape. In that demo tape, Beethoven's Maganda Ang Piliin was accidentally included. He and Dianne got individual recording contract. Beethoven's song and its accompanying album became a hit.
Michael V.'s first movie appearance was in Regal Films' comedy flick, "Banana Split" topbilled by Joey Marquez. But his star shone more brightly when OctoArts Films started to include him in several comedy flicks that cast him alongside Vic Sotto ("Ano ba Yan", "Ano ba Yan 2", "D' Sisters", "Lastikman"), Ogie Alcasid ("Ano ba Yan", "Ano ba Yan 2", "Manolo en Michelle", etc.), Francis M, and many more.
Michael is indeed an actor worth of admiration. Unlike his peers in the industry, this writer and actor has an academic degree on Mass Communications from the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila. He finished his secondary education in Manila Science High School.
He has won the Asian Television Awards for the Best Comedy Performance by an Actor for the years 2004, 2005 and 2006.
He recently joined MariMar as the voice cast of Fulgoso. After his voice acting in MariMar, he joins the casts of Codename: Asero which is Bitoy's first soap.
On August 23, 2008, Michael V, was on cloud nine after having been officially informed that he will grace the front cover of Reader's Digest (RD) 5th Annual Humor Special, September issue.
He also has an upcoming comedy movie with long time friend Ogie Alcasid called "Ang Spoiled: The Movie" produced by GMA Films & APT Productions, inspired from the segment of GMA 7's award-winning gag-show "Bubble Gang".

Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Luke 10:25-37.
There was a scholar of the law who stood up to test him and said, "Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?" Jesus said to him, "What is written in the law? How do you read it?" He said in reply, "You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your being, with all your strength, and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself." He replied to him, "You have answered correctly; do this and you will live." But because he wished to justify himself, he said to Jesus, "And who is my neighbor?" Jesus replied, "A man fell victim to robbers as he went down from Jerusalem to Jericho. They stripped and beat him and went off leaving him half-dead. A priest happened to be going down that road, but when he saw him, he passed by on the opposite side. Likewise a Levite came to the place, and when he saw him, he passed by on the opposite side. But a Samaritan traveler who came upon him was moved with compassion at the sight. He approached the victim, poured oil and wine over his wounds and bandaged them. Then he lifted him up on his own animal, took him to an inn and cared for him. The next day he took out two silver coins and gave them to the innkeeper with the instruction, 'Take care of him. If you spend more than what I have given you, I shall repay you on my way back.' Which of these three, in your opinion, was neighbor to the robbers' victim?" He answered, "The one who treated him with mercy." Jesus said to him, "Go and do likewise."

terreplein • \TAIR-uh-playn\ • noun
: the level space behind a parapet of a rampart where guns are mounted
Example Sentence:
Children love to climb on the defunct canons that sit at each of the old fort's terrepleins, creating a perfect photo op for parents.
Did you know?
Like "parapet" and "rampart," "terreplein" dates back to the 16th century. "Rampart" is the oldest of this trio; earliest evidence of the word in English is from 1536. From the Middle French word "ramparer," meaning "to fortify," it refers specifically to the broad embankment that forms the main part of a fort. The word for the protective wall on top of the rampart, "parapet," dates to 1590 and comes from Italian "parare" ("to shield") and "petto" ("chest"). The earliest evidence for today's word, "terreplein," is from only a year later. It comes (by way of Middle French) from Old Italian "terrapieno," which traces to Medieval Latin "terra plenus," meaning "filled with earth."

A Place to stand
If you have ever gone through a toll booth, you know that your relationship to the person in the booth is not the most intimate you'll ever have. It is one of life's frequent non-encounters: You hand over some money; you might get change; you drive off.
Late one morning in 1984, headed for lunch in San Francisco, I drove toward a booth. I heard loud music. It sounded like a party. I looked around.. No other cars with their windows open. No sound trucks. I looked at the toll booth. Inside it, the man was dancing.
"What are you doing?" I asked.
"I'm having a party," he said.
"What about the rest of the people?" I looked at the other toll booths..
He said, "What do those look like to you?" He pointed down the row of toll booths.
"They look like...toll booths. What do they look like to you?"
He said, "Vertical coffins. At 8:30 every morning, live people get in. Then they die for eight hours. At 4:30, like Lazarus from the dead, they reemerge and go home. For eight hours, brain is on hold, dead on the job. Going through the motions."
I was amazed. This guy had developed a philosophy, a mythology about his job. Sixteen people dead on the job, and the seventeenth, in precisely the same situation, figures out a way to live. I could not help asking the next question: "Why is it different for you? You're having a good time."
He looked at me. "I knew you were going to ask that. I don't understand why anybody would think my job is boring. I have a corner office, glass on all sides. I can see the Golden Gate, San Francisco, and the Berkeley hills. Half the Western world vacations here...and I just stroll in every day and practice dancing."

Father of four
A man has six children and is very proud of his achievement. He is so proud of himself, that he starts calling his wife, “Mother of Six” in spite of her objections. One night, they went to a party. The man decides that it’s time to go home and wants to find out if his wife is ready to leave as well. He shouts at the top his voice, “Shall we go home Mother of Six?” His wife, irritated by her husband’s lack of discretion, shouts right back, “Anytime you’re ready, Father of Four.”
