Ofcourse, naman! As long u have faith to BRo, nothing's impossibLE...last year i have this rare infirmity, a kind of muscle pain that was hard to diagnose and made me feel hopeless. almost xmas nun i completed the simbang gabi trying to be faithful to Him that i know thru prayers he wont leave me, and that He wud heal me for the best. Aun i survived and all the emotional depression. Galing! maybe eto ung isa sa mga HIMALA ng buhay ko. but i consider everday a miracle. that i'm still waking up each passing day...
This happened few years back when i was working on a graveyard shift (10pm to 6am) in a data processing company in Makati. I boarded a waiting jeepney in Pasong Tamo near the Sta Ana race track. When it got full, the jeep left. On our way one of the five young guys declared, "holdap ito!" Aware of the situation, screams and panic would surely irritate these bad guys. I kept calm though really scared, while the other women were hysterical. There were around 4 holduppers each holding a long, sharp knife. 2 were seated near the entrance holding a dagger, one at the opposite side of the driver with a knife pointed in the passenger between them (in front), 1 at the back of the driver's seat and the other in the middle (only a passenger away from me). I prayed and whispered "Lord please save me". One of the guys was getting all the passengers bags and jewelries and ordered everyone to surrender their wallets. I can clearly recall it was a payday. Why? i saw pay envelopes thrown by the holduppers after getting the cash, and a lady even cried out loud saying that she needed the money for her children. I was wearing a gold bracelet that night which i borrowed from my brother. That same night I said I'll bring 'baon' which my mom cooked, so I can share it with my friends at breaktime. It was also unlikely that I didn't bring the rest of my salary that night. What's even more strange is... the word "hold up" came into my mind before leaving our house. I just had some bills and coins in my jeans pocket.
Was I invisible to the eyes of these bad guys? They skipped me when it was my turn as if they did not see me. I voluntarily gave what's in my pocket afraid that they might find out i didn't give what's in my pocket. One of the passengers was forced by one of the holduppers to turn out his pockets. My bracelet remained in my wrist. One passenger was stabbed when he tried to get off. My pants had some blood splatters due to this because as he was lying down bleeding we had to pass. We were all ordered to alight the jeepney somewhere in Yakal St., in Makati then it sped off. I went to my office from there ( didn't know that one of the passengers is my officemate too ). He had some coins left for our fare for another jeepney ride. He relayed that they got his Rolex watch and some drafting materials in his bag too. We weren't harmed.
This is one of the miracles I experienced. How about you, don't you think I was invisible that time?
